Knight Frank strengthens International Project Marketing Team with key management appointments

DATE: 26 August 2011

Knight Frank announces the strengthening of its International Project Marketing Division in Asia Pacific, to support the huge growth in demand from the region. Residential Development Partner Seb Warner moved across from London to Hong Kong heading the Asia Pacific region. He is joined by Mimi Capas, who oversees a new leasing division to support the international residential market expansion. In order to meet the expansion, Amous Lee is promoted to Director of the International Project Marketing, Greater China and Victor Li has been appointed as Director of the International Project Marketing Department.

Seb Warner - Regional Director of International Project Marketing

Seb Warner has spent the past 10 years in residential investment sales across the UK, with a primary focus on London. Over the last 3 years he has led the global International Project Marketing initiative, which has involved selling residential investments to the Far East. He leads the Regional International Project Marketing Team and markets high end developments from around the world to the established markets within Asia Pacific, whilst trying to uncover new markets.

Mimi Capas - Director of Investment Lettings

Mimi Capas has had 5 years’ experience with Knight Frank in Central London residential leasing. She specialises in residential leasing with focus on residential development and leasing transactions covering the entire UK. She is also responsible for providing quality advice to major developers and investors on new acquisitions, and providing linkage between Hong Kong and London in terms of handover, pre-tenancy preparation, lettings and property management. In addition, Mimi acts as a bridge between the Asia Pacific and London team in regards to residential corporate leasing, so as to work towards the goal of offering comprehensive global residential corporate services.

Victor Li - Director of International Project Marketing

Victor Li joined Knight Frank as Director of International Project Marketing, overseeing the company’s multi-market exhibitions. Prior to joining Knight Frank, Victor worked in another international property company and has over 15 years of experience in servicing international clients. He is responsible for international brokerage for overseas development.

Mr Seb Warner, Regional Director of International Project Marketing says, “Asia is the fastest-growing region for cross-border sales of London property. Our International Project Marketing Team, which sells global high end residential developments to the Asian markets, reports that £150 million of its London properties were snapped up by Asian buyers in the beginning of the year. The prime residential markets have acted as ‘safe-havens’ for investors over the past two years – with growing demand for property in London as economic and geo-political concerns have pushed investors to look for stable locations for their wealth. One of the most noticeable outcomes from the recent global recession was the divergence between property performance in the mainstream markets (generally weak) and the prime or luxury markets (generally much better). We believe that more investors will look for stable investment opportunities by investing in the mature luxury property market. With the wide range of luxury properties that Knight Frank has to offer and our highly experienced team, we are confident that our business will continue to flourish and grow.”
